INNOCENTIVE Inc.,-the Eli Lilly and Company-backed Internet R&D venture
has announced its first "wet" chemistry solutions.
The first "wet" chemistry award of $25,000, was made to retired
Head of Research, Werner Mueller, for submitting what InnoCentive calls a "breakthrough
pathway" for the synthesis of 4-(4-hydroxyphenyl) butanoic acid. Dr.
Mueller is the founder and president of CHD Technologies Inc., a process R&D
company
for agricultural and pharmaceutical intermediates.
